Random Cards

Today I was feeling rather crafty so I made a few cards.  The first one has to be one of my favorites!

This turned out better then I had planned, hopefully I will be able to use it soon!

I started to make a few simple thank you cards to send to parents who attend back to school night this week.  They are very simple, but if I have to make 20 I don't need to spend an hour on each one :)

Peachy Keen Challenge #35

So I haven't been on here in a while!  Summer found me away from home and busy often!  Sadly it came to an end and school started a little over a week ago.  Finally found time this weekend to get back to some challenges.  I love the sketches in the Peachy Keen Challenges.  I though since Halloween is coming I would get started on my cards.  Picture is not the best quality; I have to find a better way to take my pictures!!

For this challenge I used:

Mini Monsters Cricut Cart

Several colors of solid cardstock

A seasonal pack of paper from Joanns

So excited!!

I can't believe it, I got the call from the cricut circle today and my school will be receiving one of the expressions they are giving away.  I know a lot of people were skeptical about the circle, but it was worth joining if only for this reason!  I can't wait to see the projects we create!!

So my room is not finished yet, but I wanted to share a quick card I made for one of my friends. 

So I decided to make a quick card, and it turned out great. 

I love the way my ribbon came out!  This idea came from Robyn over at http://www.mypinkstamper.com/.  It was so easy that this will probably be the only way I use ribbon now!!

As you can see from my mess, I still am not in my craft room yet.  I cannot wait until I finish it, I hate working at the kitchen table!! There is never enough room, hopefully I will be crafting in my new room by next week.  I check in again soon and keep you up to date on the progress.

New Crafting Room!

I haven't posted in a few weeks.  My summer is flying by!!  Last week my church went to church camp and it was amazing.  Now I'm back home, painting and reorganizing my craft room.  It is such a mess, but here are some pictures of the progress.

My dad has been helping redo the room, he already fixed the closet a few weeks ago!

The painting has begun.  I didn't realize how long it would take me to tape the room!

Here is the first coat, it is looking great so far!

First Peachy Keen Challenge!!

So this was my first time participating in a challenge.  I had a lot of fun and can't wait for another one!

We love all things Disney, so I used the Mickey and Friends Cart!

Here is a close up of Mickey.

This turned out to be my favorite part of the page. 

I just had to put this picture of my cousin and his best friend Mickey.  This page will go great in his scrapbook.
